The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security participated in the 30th edition of the Arabian Travel Market, which will conclude its activities on May 04, 2023 at Dubai World Trade Center.
The Authority’s participation was in coordination with the Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi. It showcased the system of smart services, facilities and incentives that it provides to visitors and tourists wishing to visit the tourist attractions of the UAE.
The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security plays an important role at the national level in supporting the tourism sector in the UAE by developing an integrated smart services system that includes multiple forms of tourist and residence visa services that are provided to those wishing to visit the country for tourism, work and investment, in addition to attracting capital, talents, people with skills and experience.
The updated visa system for the UAE consists of more than 15 categories of visas, with new facilities for the existing categories, including entry visas for tourism, golden residency and green residency, a visa for exploring business opportunities, entry for workers on board cruise ships and pleasure boats, entry to visit a friend or relative, a visa for members of official delegations, as well as residence permits for humanitarian cases, the bringing by an expat of his relatives or relatives of his wife, a visa for residents of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and their companions, the bringing of a foreigner to reside without having to work in the UAE, in addition to the criteria and terms for the duration of the foreigner’s stay in the UAE after cancellation or expiry of his residency, and the categories excluded from considering the residency to be invalid in the event that the foreigner stays outside the country for more than 180 days.
The Authority is fully committed to the standards and principles of the unified tourism identity, which comes as an extension of the visual media identity, in a way that enhances the image and position of the UAE in the global mental image, consolidates efforts and energies to celebrate the success story of the UAE, and supports the integrated and well-established tourism system that the UAE possesses in order to provide an outstanding experience based on tourism diversity for visitors from all over the world.
