His Excellency Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, Acting Director General of the Authority, and Her Excellency Shamma bint Suhail Al Mazrouei, participated in the launching ceremony of the youth empowerment system at the Federal Youth Authority pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.
The Authority’s participation came as part of supporting the initiative of the integrated work system, the first of its kind in the world, to empower young people in federal government agencies, in light of the Cabinet’s recent adoption of the youth empowerment policy in the federal government, to complete the process of supporting young people and giving them the opportunity to show their best effective skills and energies to build the country’s future and in a way that supports the achievement of future goals and strategies.
The ceremony included workshops for ministerial and institutional youth councils, presenting their outputs to the leaders of the participating parties, and reviewing the concepts of the system, its scientific definition, and measurement criteria that support empowerment.
Al Khaili praised the efforts of the Federal Youth Authority to invest in young people and tap into their potential, and empower them in government institutions, and motivate them to actively contribute to serving the nation at the national, regional and international levels.
