ID WORLD Abu Dhabi 2012 to kick off tomorrow

The ID WORLD Abu Dhabi 2102 will kick off at the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research tomorrow. Hosted by the Emirates Identity Authority, the summit is held under the patronage of His Highness Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy prime Minister, Minister of Interior and Deputy Chairman of the Emirates Identity Authority, and is supported by the European Commission.

This year’s 5^th edition of the summit, in which more than 60 dedicated working papers will be presented over 2 days, will see the participation and attendance of representatives of government entities as well as experts and staff involved in the manufacture of smart ID cards and digital ID identification systems. In addition, more than 20 world-class companies operating in this field will participate in the exhibition to be held on the sidelines of the summit.

The Emirates Identity Authority has called on the government and private sector organizations to take part in the summit, which is regarded as a unique platform for regional decision-makers to optimize the world’s successful practices for spreading awareness with respect to applying advanced ID systems.
