The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP), represented by the General Directorate of Customs and Ports Security, honoured a number of outstanding customs inspectors and employees from the General Directorate, in addition to a number of distinguished inspectors from Ras Al Khaimah Customs, on Monday, 8 June 2026, in recognition of their exceptional efforts in detecting and combating customs smuggling crimes during 2026.
H.E. Ahmed Abdullah Al Khaili, Acting Executive Director of the Security Inspection Sector, honoured 23 inspectors and employees from ICP, along with five inspectors from Ras Al Khaimah Customs, and presented them with certificates of appreciation. H.E. praised their dedication, vigilance, and efforts in countering smuggling attempts and strengthening customs inspection and control systems, contributing to the protection of society, enhancement of ports security, and reinforcement of customs operational efficiency.
