The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security (ICP), represented by the National Early Information Centre under the General Directorate of Customs and Port Security, participated in the IATA Global Forum 2025, organized by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in Istanbul, Turkiye, from 3 to 7 November 2025. The forum brought together a wide range of leaders from the global aviation industry and key government entities.
The forum focused on the transition toward the concept of modern airline retailing, highlighting product and offer management, order delivery, financial processing and payment solutions, and the enhancement of customer experience through digital identity and improved service fulfillment.
During the forum, the delegation from the National Early Information Centre showcased the Authority’s pioneering experiences in facilitating entry and exit procedures for travelers to and from the UAE, through the adoption of advanced systems aligned with international standards. The delegation emphasized that the Centre’s continued participation in this global forum supports the UAE government’s leading role in the aviation, travel, and tourism sectors. It also reflects ICP’s commitment to aligning with international requirements and applying the highest standards of quality and excellence.
In a panel discussion, the delegation reaffirmed the Centre’s commitment to continuously updating national entry and exit requirements on the TIMATIC platform, which has played a key role in raising awareness among airlines and travelers about essential pre-travel procedures.
