The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) has agreed with both the Department of Digital Ajman and Fujairah Digital Government to strengthen their strategic partnerships and further enhance the electronic integration ecosystem between ICP and each entity separately. The initiative aims to enable service providers in Ajman and Fujairah to exchange service-related data seamlessly and deliver interconnected and integrated services, allowing customers to access proactive and flexible government services without the need to move between government entities.
The agreements were reached during bilateral meetings held between ICP and the Department of Digital Ajman and Fujairah Digital Government on the sidelines of the Digital Readiness Retreat organised by the UAE Government on Wednesday, 3 June 2026, in Dubai. During the meetings, H.E. Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, Director General of ICP, discussed with H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Saif Al Sharqi, Director General of Fujairah Digital Government, and H.E. Dr. Ohoud Ali Shehail, Director General of the Department of Digital Ajman, in the presence of a number of officials from both sides, ways to strengthen cooperation and advance the electronic integration ecosystem in a manner that enhances the UAE’s competitiveness and enables customers to access seamless and convenient services that improve their quality of life.
H.E. Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili stated that the institutional integration ecosystem adopted by ICP is designed to support government entities across the UAE in delivering government services more efficiently, saving customers time and effort by simplifying the customer journey, eliminating bureaucracy in service delivery, and enabling the real-time exchange of data. He also noted that ICP has successfully established electronic integration with more than 292 public and private sector partners across the UAE through its institutional integration platform, facilitating the seamless exchange of data between entities.
H.E. further emphasised that ICP values its strategic partnerships with both the Department of Digital Ajman and Fujairah Digital Government. He explained that the collaboration covers services provided through ICP’s Institutional Integration Platform, which facilitates technical connectivity and the exchange of data and information through Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). These services are hosted through the Government Service Bus framework connecting the systems of both parties in accordance with agreed technical standards. The collaboration also includes the provision of technical support, maintenance services, and incident management for the Institutional Integration Platform.
