General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chairman of Police and Public Security in Dubai, today inaugurated the 3rd Happiness Education Exhibition 2022 in the presence of Lt. General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of Dubai’s General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, and Major General Obaid Muhair bin Suroor, Deputy Director of GDRFA.
Held at the headquarters of GDRFA, the three-day event brings together more than 23 universities and educational institutions and will conclude on Wednesday, July 20. Several specialists and lecturers are also participating in the program, providing workshops and lectures to GDRFA staff members and their kids wishing to pursue their academic journey (be it Bachelor, Master, or PhD).
The sessions will discuss educational programs and majors offered by institutions at great discounts ranging from 25% to 75%, and also introduce full scholarships for Esaad privilege card holders.
Lt. General Dhahi Khalfan stressed that all government entities in Dubai work hand in hand to implement the wise directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who attaches utmost attention to customer happiness and satisfaction and believes that they must be served in the best way possible.
“The Happiness Education Exhibition is a fantastic event, serving both students and their parents, especially those working in the GDRFA. Instead of switching between universities in pursuit of the best match, the exhibition gives students a variety of educational opportunities all under one roof. Numerous prestigious colleges are attending the event, and interested students may tour all of these universities in only 20 minutes to choose which is the best fit for them, “said Khalfan.
For his part, Lt. General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri stressed the GDRFA’s keenness to hold the exhibition on a yearly basis, saying it has developed into a venue for connecting employees’ kids with professionals, academic institutions, and experts to brief them on the specialities they choose to pursue. This is consistent with the wise leadership’s vision of the UAE, which aims to realize sustainable development objectives, particularly with regard to the academic growth of young people.
“We are collaborating closely with our strategic partners to improve and develop educational systems in accordance with the highest international standards. This is to create citizens equipped with excellence, innovation, and artificial intelligence and able to mold the future in line with the UAE’s national agenda and drive its leadership path toward greater accomplishments over the next 50 years, “Al Marri said.
The show gives colleges and universities a venue to host educational workshops and introduce their benefits and offers to students wishing to further their education. Additionally, it seeks to strengthen relationships between the GDRFA and the ALSAADA Card partner (education sector).
Furthermore, it aims to create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages staff to pursue higher education by responding to their questions about admission requirements and giving them a general understanding of what it’s like to be a student.
