General Directorate of Nationality Holds Its First Annual Forum of 2026

The General Directorate of Nationality at the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) held its first annual forum on Thursday, 4 June 2026, at ICP’s headquarters in Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi. The event was attended by H.E. Brigadier Murshed Al Mazrouei, Acting Executive Director of the Population Data Sector; H.E. Brigadier Saeed Al Hindasi, Acting Executive Director of the Nationality Affairs Sector; as well as a number of department directors, strategic partners, and employees.

The forum, which aimed to showcase key achievements and strengthen institutional engagement, commenced with a video presentation highlighting the Directorate’s journey, projects, and initiatives. The presentation reviewed major accomplishments achieved during the past period and the development efforts that contributed to enhancing operational efficiency and improving service quality.

In his address, H.E. Brigadier Murshed Al Mazrouei emphasised that the achievements of the General Directorate of Nationality were the result of teamwork and constructive collaboration among various teams and strategic partners. He commended employees for their dedication and contributions to institutional excellence and for fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

The forum also featured an inspiring discussion session with one of the Directorate’s distinguished young employees, who shared his professional journey and success story.
