The GCC Customs Union Authority has announced the launch of the Tayseer System, a centralised electronic platform designed to monitor and address obstacles to trade exchange across GCC. The initiative marks a significant step towards strengthening economic integration and facilitating the movement of goods among member states.
The launch forms part of ICP’s efforts to ensure compliance with the unified customs policies, regulations, and procedures of the GCC Customs Union, thereby enhancing customs efficiency and improving the experience of the business community across GCC countries.
The Tayseer System is designed to serve the GCC business community by enabling companies and establishments to submit challenges and obstacles encountered in cross-border trade through a unified digital platform. These issues are then automatically routed to the relevant specialists within customs administrations and authorities across GCC member states for resolution in accordance with the approved procedures.
Eligibility Requirements:
- The company or establishment must be based in one of the GCC member states.
- The company or establishment must be registered in the system to benefit from its services.
The Tayseer System represents a qualitative step towards enhancing transparency, strengthening coordination among relevant entities, and supporting the growth of intra-GCC trade.
