The Emirates Identity Authority has discussed means of mutual co-operation with as part of its ongoing endeavor to combine efforts and develop technological and information systems between the Population Register Department at the Emirates Identity Authority and the Forensic Evidence Department in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
The meeting, held at Emirates Identity Authority’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi yesterday and attended by H.E. Mohamed Al Mazrouei, Executive Director of Population Register, and H.E. Colonel Abdul Rahman Al Hammadi, Director of the Forensic Evidence Department at Abu Dhabi Police and Chairman of the Coordination Committee for the Forensic Laboratories, discussed a number of issues related to the 10 fingerprint verification and search systems and the existing development and updating programs.
The meeting was attended from the Emirates Identity Authority by Mr. Saleh Khamis Al Junaibi, Director of Control and Follow-up, and Mr. Talal Ahmed Al Tunaiji, Fingerprint Expert.
It was also attended from the Forensic Evidence Department in Abu Dhabi and Dubai by Colonel Ahmed Abdullah, Head of Genetic Fingerprint Database Section at Abu Dhabi Police, Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Matar Al Muhairi, Director General of the Department of Forensic Sciences and Criminology at Dubai Police, Captain Sultan Ahmed Al Tunaiji, Head of Fingerprints and Forensic Evidence Section at Abu Dhabi Police, First Lieutenant Sultan Al Karbi from the Fingerprints and Forensic Evidence Section, and Mr. Ibrahim Al Hosani, from the Forensic Evidence Section.
