The Emirates Identity Authority has congratulated His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, on the 40th anniversary of his accession as ruler of the emirate.
Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al Khouri, Emirates ID Director General, said: “The accession of His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi as the ruler of the UAE cultural capital had a great effect on enhancing the leading experience of the union and supporting the process of growth and development witnessed by the UAE under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may Allah protect him, and his brethren Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates.
In a speech published by Al Khaleej newspaper, Al Khouri clarified that the UAE nationals are overwhelmed with joy today as His Highness Sharjah Ruler’s accession anniversary coincides with his safe return home to join Their Highnesses the Rulers of the Emirates for leading the UAE process of growth and prosperity.
Praising His Highness Sharjah Ruler’s scientific, intellectual and cultural position, Al Khouri said; “His Highness Sharjah Ruler is a luminous lamp of knowledge and his love for knowledge, his passion for science, his heavy intellectual product, his limitless support for the cultural scene in the UAE and his firmly established imprints in the fields of science and culture rendered His Highness a cultural example to follow by the UAE nationals and Arab and Islamic people and a bright intellectual model worldwide.
