Emirates Identity Authority has joined Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian care and Special Needs in its celebrations of the 44th National Day, which were held under the sponsorship of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Organization.
EIDA’s participation in this event comes in line with its commitment to its social responsibility, keenness on the active participation in national events, and its endeavors to help the special needs overcome all the obstacles standing in the way of their full integration into the society.
The celebration involved popular and folk artistic performances depicting the sense of belonging and loyalty to the country and its prudent leadership, along with a number of entertaining artistic contests and shows, and popular sports, in which the audience took part, besides reciting a collection of poems on the love of the country and loyalty to the wise leadership.
Hamood Al Nuaimi, The Director of Khalifa Customer Service Center, explained for the visitors of the EIDA’s partition in the exhibition held on the sidelines of the celebration the authority’s role and services offered for the customers, along with raising their awareness of the importance of the ID card and the smart services it encompasses. He also informed the special needs and their families with the free-of-charge mobile registration service offered by the authority to the sick and the elderly.
