During their 3rd regular meeting for 2012, the directors of the Emirates Identity Authority-affiliated registration centers discussed a number of topics related to registration mechanisms and procedures and the efforts exerted to develop the Emirates Identity Authority’s services and projects.
H.E. Mohammed Abdullah Al Harthy, Acting Executive Director of Registration Centers, who presided over the meeting held in Sharjah Registration Center yesterday, urged all the directors of registration centers to focus on serving customers and overcome the difficulties and obstacles they faced so as to ensure the provision of the best service.
The meeting also discussed the “Excellence Star” system, which was adopted recently by the Higher Management Committee at the Emirates Identity Authority. During the meeting, the directors of centers discussed the mechanism of retrieving the fees paid to the employees of private companies operating in the free zones of Abu Dhabi and Dubai. They also discussed the security and safety systems and procedures observed at the centers with the aim of applying the best safety criteria.
The meeting listened to a presentation on the role of the Emirates Identity Authority’s departments in Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award and other awards. It also discussed the latest updates related to the preventive medicine project and the linkage of ID registration procedures.
