Extending warmest greetings and gratitude to the wise leadership,

Citizenship is not only privileges and rights but also duties, obligations and a sense of giving and belonging

H.E Ali Mohammed Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ICA, extended his warmest greetings and gratitude to H.H Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President, for his directives to complete all the procedures related to granting nationality to (3354) children of the Emirati women.

 

He said that this event that came in coincidence with Eid El Fitr, brought joy and happiness to the hearts of a large number of UAE peoples and doubled their families’ celebration with the Eid. He commended the President’s ongoing directives to exert every effort to make UAE daughters and sons happy, providing them with family stability, decent life and a bright future.

 

In addition, Al Shamsi also extended his greetings and gratitude to H.H Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, and ruler of the Emirate of Dubai, and his brother Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE’s Armed Forces for their care and interest in all life aspects of the female nationals and their non-national children as well as their keen to rest them assure on the future of their own flesh and blood.

 

He further added that completing the procedures for covering this group of Emirati women’s children under the Emirati citizenship was due to the active follow up of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Minister of Presidential Affairs who spared no effort to complete this profile and achieve the ambitions and dreams of the interested people.

 

Al Shamsi congratulated all those who were granted citizenship and said: “You are all welcomed as active members in our large Emirati Family. We are looking forward to your valued contributions in different giving and building domains, hoping that you become a qualitative addition that contributes to promoting the development and prosperity process”.

 

He noted that ICA developed a timeframe to complete all the steps related to delivering the nationality documents to the covered children and shall be announced soon in coordination with the concerned entities. The covered children will be able to lead their lives as UAE nationals and benefit from the initiatives, projects, and services offered by the wise leadership to the nationals.

 

He further highlighted that citizenship is not only privileges and rights, but also duties and obligations and a sense of giving, belonging, loyalty, devotion, and commitment. He called upon those who are covered by the initiative to re-energize themselves, and consider this achievement a platform for a new start towards serving the State and contributing to advancing and developing the nation with more creativity and sincere giving.
