Acting Director General of Customs pays a visit to Ras Al-Dara land border port

His Excellency Ahmed Abdullah bin Lahej Al Falasi, Acting Director General of the General Administration of Customs at the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security, visited Ras Al Dara land border port in Ras Al Khaimah to check on the progress of customs operations at the port and to learn about the effective inspection system as well as to identify the nature of control activities related to the flow of goods and transportation operations.
Furthermore, the Acting Director General of Customs, during his visit to Al Dara Customs Center with the Director General of Ras Al Khaimah Customs, and in presence of a number of managers, discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation and explored mechanisms aimed at intensifying customs control, strengthening efforts supporting the security and safety of society, and contributing with various authorities to preserving national gains.
The visit included honoring a group of Ras Al Khaimah Customs employees for their exceptional efforts in practicing customs control, accuracy of detection, and confiscation of prohibited items.
