About this service

This service allows the renewal of the electronic establishment card, which reflects the registered establishment data.

Terms and Conditions

  • The service is granted only if a valid trade license is available
  • Payment of the fines due on the establishment is required
  • Complete the necessary procedures to fulfill the application requirements (in case the application is returned for modification).

  • In the event of violating any instructions or decisions issued by the Authority, or breaching the commitments of the establishment or individuals towards the Authority, a fine of AED 2,000 shall be imposed
  • In the event that entry permits are issued for an establishment that is not conducting any business activity, a fine of AED 20,000 shall be applied.
  • In the event that misuse of smart services is detected, a fine of AED 2,000 shall be imposed.

Service fees

  • Application Fees - 100 AED
  • A renewal fee of AED 100 shall apply for each year - 100 AED
  • Renewal of establishment subscription in the Authority’s electronic system - 1000 AED
  • Smart Service Fees - 100 AED

List of Required Documents for Service

  • A copy of the decree (federal/local) establishing the government entity
  • A copy of the resolution forming the Board of Directors
  • Official letter to the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security requesting file opening, signed by the Chairman or authorized representative.
  • Signature authorization letter for the authorized signatories
  • Trade License
  • The trade license. In the case of a Limited Liability Company (LLC), a copy of the license indicating the relevant stakeholders must be attached.
  • Signature Authorization Letter
  • Memorandum of Association (MoA) in case of partnership
  • Any requirements issued by the local government authorities (depending on the emirate in which the establishment is registered).

Service fines

  • A delay in renewing the establishment card for more than 30 days from its expiry date: AED 100 for each month of delay, up to a maximum of AED 1,000. - 100 AED
