- Ministries, departments, government institutions, and local and federal public authorities are exempt from providing the financial guarantee, except for their affiliated institutions and companies that engage in commercial activity.
- Approval from the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) is required if the employer is subject to the Labour Relations Regulation Law, or if the visa applicant is classified as a domestic worker.
- It is required that the foreigner’s stay in the UAE does not exceed sixty (60) days from the date of entry for the purpose of completing the residence issuance procedures. If the residence permit is not finalized within this period, the applicable overstay fines will be imposed on the applicant.
- The holder must enter the UAE within the 60-day validity period of the entry permit from its date of issuance. The validity may be extended for a similar period in accordance with the applicable rules and procedures.
