- Ministries, departments, government institutions, and local and federal public authorities are exempt from providing the financial guarantee, except for their affiliated institutions and companies that engage in commercial activity.
- Approval from the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) is required if the employer is subject to the Labour Relations Regulation Law, or if the visa applicant is classified as a domestic worker.
- It is required that the foreigner’s stay in the UAE does not exceed sixty (60) days from the date of entry for the purpose of completing the residence issuance procedures. If the residence permit is not finalized within this period, the applicable overstay fines will be imposed on the applicant.
- A fine of AED 50 will be imposed for each day of overstay inside the UAE after the entry permit has expired or been cancelled, starting from the day following the end of the grace period applicable to the specific type of entry permit.

- To apply for a visit visa for a friend or relative (resident sponsor): a minimum monthly salary of AED 4,000 is required for first-degree relatives, AED 8,000 for second- and third-degree relatives, and AED 15,000 for friends, with proof of kinship according to the degree.
- For a visit visa for a friend or relative (resident sponsor): 1st degree: father, mother, spouse, son, daughter – 2nd degree: siblings, grandparents, grandchildren – 3rd degree: uncle, aunt, cousins – friend: non-relative."

- The financial guarantee may be refunded by submitting a request for refund after the visa has been cancelled or after the beneficiary has exited the UAE, provided that no residency violations have been committed.
- A tourist visa allows its holder to stay in the UAE for a continuous period not exceeding 90 days, and the Authority may extend it for an equivalent period, provided that the total stay does not exceed 180 days within a single year.
