Terms and Conditions

  • The entry permit validity may be extended once, for an equivalent period, before arriving in the UAE.
  • The entry permit for visiting a relative or friend may be extended by the issuing authority once or multiple times, provided the total duration does not exceed 180 days.
  • The entry permit for exploring job opportunities or business establishment may be extended by the issuing authority once or multiple times, provided the total duration does not exceed 180 days.
  • The 6-month multiple-entry permit for completing Golden or Blue Residence procedures may be extended once for an equivalent period only.
  • Entry permits for border areas, truck drivers, workers on tourist ships, and pleasure boats are non-extendable.
  • A 14-day visa issued to nationals of certain countries residing outside their country of nationality may be extended once for the same period.
  • A 60-day visa issued to nationals of certain countries residing outside their country of nationality is not extendable.
  • The entry permit validity may be extended once, for an equivalent period, before arriving in the UAE.
  • The visit/tourism entry permit may be extended by the issuing authority once or multiple times, provided the total duration does not exceed 120 days.
  • The entry permit validity may be extended once, for an equivalent period, before arriving in the UAE.
  • The entry permit for medical treatment may be extended by the issuing authority once or multiple times, provided the total duration does not exceed 180 days.
  • The entry permit validity may be extended once, for an equivalent period, before arriving in the UAE.
  • The entry permit for study or training may be extended by the issuing authority once or multiple times, provided the total duration does not exceed 180 days.
  • A work mission visa issued based on the approval of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation may be extended once only, subject to the Ministry’s approval of the extension.
  • A public-sector work mission visa may be extended once only for a period equal to the original visa duration.

  • Application fee for all types of visa extensions - 100 AED
  • Extend entry Fees - 500 AED
  • Fee for extending a 14-day visa issued to nationals of certain countries residing outside their country of nationality, once for the same period - 250 AED
  • Fees for extending a multiple-entry visa to complete Golden or Blue Residency procedures (6 months) - 1000 AED
  • Fee for requesting the extension of entry permit validity before arriving in the UAE - 50 AED
  • Application fees - 100 AED
  • Extend entry Fees - 500 AED
  • Fee for requesting the extension of entry permit validity before arriving in the UAE - 50 AED

  • Providing the same documents submitted at the time of issuance, according to the type of visa.

  • Expiry of the permitted stay period for the visa holder, or expiration of the entry visa (per day) - 50 AED
