Service Information
Conditions for obtaining the service
  • The UAE citizen must be added to the family book.
  • Customers must follow the instructions and requirements sent to them during the course of the transaction in order to avoid canceling the activation of the request.
Service Limitation
  • The service is required to be provided by the person concerned (the individual added in the family book after the age of 30 years or upon marriage)

  1. If the marriage is outside the country, the contract must be duly certified and the continuity of the marriage from within the country must be brought
  2. In the event that more than a year has passed since the date of the marriage contract within the country, a marriage continuity must be brought.
  3. If the husband wishes to add a foreign wife, she must be present with the husband at the service center.
  4. In the event of failure to work, a status declaration from the Sharia court shall be brought.
A divorced female citizen may choose the place of issuance of the new family book based on the registration of her divorced or her father. A new family book is issued to the widow, provided that she has no children registered in the family book of her deceased husband. The validity of the acknowledgment of the case by the court shall not exceed 3 months.
