The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) is committed to making open data available and promoting its use in ways that support transparency, innovation, service development, and knowledge sharing.

This policy sets out the controls governing the use and re-use of open data provided by the ICP through its website, while taking into account relevant laws, legislation, and policies, including privacy protection, intellectual property rights, and information security.

What Is Open Data?

Open data refers to public data and information generated by, or available to, the ICP within the scope of its responsibilities, which it makes available through its website in formats that enable their use and re-use, in accordance with the approved terms and controls.

Individuals, as well as public and private sector entities, may benefit from and re-use open data for various purposes, including research, analysis, and the development of applications and services, subject to the applicable laws, legislation, and relevant policies.

PDF: To provide data or documents in a fixed format for viewing and downloading.

Published Documents and Records

Electronic copies shall not be deemed a substitute for official, approved copies where the applicable law or legislation requires an original or certified copy.
