H.E. Brigadier Hamad Kadeeb Al Zaabi, Director of the General Directorate of Nationality in Ras Al Khaimah, presided the workshop which was organized by the Government Communication Department, for the directors of the communication departments at the regional branches all over the UAE. The workshop aims at introducing the regional directors to ICA’s government communication strategy and the best practices applied in this field.
In the course of the workshop, Abdul Rahim Al-Karandi, Corporate Communication Specialist at the Government Communication Department in ICA, presented a detailed explanation to the participants about the government’s communication strategy and its role in raising the awareness of ICA’s customers and employees about its strategy, processes, achievements, and services, which are provided as per the best practices. This in turn contributes to upgrading ICA’s name and its position.
Major Abdullah Khalfan Al Hamli, Director of the Government Communication Department at the General Directorate of Nationality, presented on his part the governance mechanism, the management procedures and processes, and the rules governing the use of social media pages, as well as the mechanisms for making optimal benefit from these global platforms to serve ICA and enable it to easily communicate its media messages to customers.
He further stressed the Directorate keenness on identifying ICA’s distinguished employees specialized in the field of media, photography, publishing, and event management to optimize their experiences in promoting the organizational reputation of the General Directorate of Nationality.
The workshop tackled the most prominent media messages and communication channels made available by ICA to its customers and the initiatives launched through its social pages, which were turned from just traditional pages to interactive service pages that serve customers and follow up their applications and inquiries and make them happy.
