The Financial Resources Department of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security recently held a coordination meeting with Commercial Bank of Dubai at the Authority’s head office in Abu Dhabi, with the aim of strengthening the strategic partnership between the Authority and the bank in the field of automating transactions and financial payments, and developing proactive services that meet the needs of customers in the present and in the future.
The meeting was chaired by Brigadier Tariq Muhammad Salem bin Rabia, Director of the Financial Resources Department at the Authority, and attended by Mr. Fahd bin Fahd Al Muhairi, Director General of Banking for Companies and Government Institutions, from Commercial Bank of Dubai. Several specialized managers from both sides also attended the meeting.
The meeting dealt with a number of themes of cooperation and partnership between the Authority and the bank, most notably the mechanism for applying the best innovative solutions and practices in automating operations and financial payments, in a way that contributes to raising the level of customers’ happiness and achieving their desires and aspirations for the services provided by the Authority. The meeting also dealt with ways to shorten the customer journey and simplify the procedures by applying the latest technologies, harnessing modern technology and using innovative digital systems, in addition to updating the existing systems, developing services and collecting fees according to new technologies that keep pace with the continuous development and achieve the interest of the Authority and customers alike.
During the meeting, the two sides agreed on the need to enhance joint cooperation and the continuity of periodic meetings between the two sides to overcome the difficulties and challenges that may face the service delivery system in the Authority and to devise effective solutions to them as soon as possible to satisfy customers and improve their quality of life.
Brigadier Tariq bin Rabieh said: “Developing services and applying the best technical and financial practices to raise the level of customer happiness is one of the most important strategic objectives of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security. To achieve this purpose, the Authority is keen, based on the directives of the higher leadership, to strengthen cooperation and coordination with its strategic partners, believing that effective and constructive partnership is the way to achieve initiatives and strategic plans in accordance with the best standards of excellence and quality in the fastest time possible by benefiting from the capabilities and expertise of these partners.”
He added that Commercial Bank of Dubai has been a strategic partner for the Authority over the past decades, during which the bank made great contributions in the field of developing services and financial automation, which helped the Authority achieve excellence in this field.
