The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security received on the morning of March 14, 2023, at the Authority’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi, a delegation from the International Organization for Migration in the MENA region to discuss ways of collaboration and learn about the best international practices in the fields of travel and travel procedures, and the various documents related to proof of personal identity.
His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Al-Kuwaiti, Director General of Ports Security at the Authority, received Othman Al-Balbeisi, the regional director of the organization, and the other members of the delegation. The two parties discussed mechanisms for collaboration, and the delegation was briefed on the system of smart services provided by the Authority, while reviewing best practices and international systems related to strengthening aspects of managing identification activities and various concepts related to travel documents and procedures for moving through international travel points.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency the Advisor Mohammed Nasser Al Zaabi, His Excellency Brigadier General Murshid Hamad Al Mazrouei, Acting Executive Director of Population Data, His Excellency Juma Abdullah Al Kaabi, Executive Director of the Information Technology Sector, and several officials and stakeholders from both sides.
