The General Administration of Customs and Ports Security at the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security held a dialogue session with UK Revenue and Customs to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the disclosure of cash, precious metals, and related valuables. The session also aimed to review customs procedures governing the movement of funds and gold in both countries, and to exchange knowledge on mechanisms for analyzing customs information and sharing expertise in this field.
The meeting took place on Wednesday, 14 January 2026, in Dubai, with the participation of a number of officials from the General Administration of Customs and Ports Security and the British authority, in addition to representatives from the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Economy and Tourism.
