Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship and the Ministry of Infrastructure Development signed a Memorandum of Understanding aiming at enhancing joint cooperation and coordination in the implementation of joint projects to ensure good implementation, quick completion and improve the performance of their operations for the public interest.
The MoU was signed by His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Minister of Infrastructure Development and Chairman of Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme, HE Eng. Hassan Mohammed Juma Al Mansouri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Infrastructure Development and from the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship HE Colonel Khamis Mohammed Salem Al Kaabi, Executive Director of Support Service Sector at ICA.
His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Bin Mohammed Belheif Al Nuaimi stressed that the Ministry, through cooperation with its strategic partners, aims at developing smart services provided to citizens, which comes in line with the directives of the wise leadership and achieves happiness for the State citizens.
He pointed out that the strengthening of companies contributes to the implementation of federal projects within their schedules and budgets allocated to them, which in turn serves the community and supports the process of achieving sustainable and balanced development and provide high quality life to the people of UAE, the matter which supports the system of happiness and achieves UAE Vision 2021.
Al Kaabi said that the signing of this Memorandum contributes to the efforts of both parties to achieve their strategic objectives through the development of services and enhancing cooperation between them. He pointed out that ICA is actively seeking to strengthen coordination and integration with various government agencies and activating partnerships with them to Serve the public interest and society in all its categories and forms and support the joint efforts to place UAE among the best countries
in the world in the field of service quality and its development to achieve UAE Vision 2021.
Al-Kaabi pointed out that the MoU contributes to enhancing the electronic linking between the two entities through exchanging data, information and studies related to the competence of the parties to achieve the common strategic objectives, especially in the field of improving the performance of operations, simplifying procedures and meeting the needs of the community and achieving the public interest.
He praised the efforts exerted by the Ministry of Infrastructure Development, which aims at establishing a modern, integrated and sustainable infrastructure throughout the country that serves development projects, contributes to the provision of a decent life for citizens and residents and facilitates the provision of services at levels that meet their expectations.
