Higher Management Committee holds its Fourth Meeting & discusses the Most ..

Emirates ID’s Higher Management Committee held its fourth regular meeting headed by Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al-Khouri, Emirates ID’s Acting General Director, during which work progress and the most important developments were discussed.

Emirates ID’s Acting General Director called upon all Emirates ID’s departments, centers and sections to exert every possible effort for achieving the notable increase and appropriate growth in the number of registrants for the ID card, in order for Emirates ID to be able to proceed with its vital strategic projects related to the Population Register & Identity Card System.

The Executive Director of Registration Centers presented the most important developments related to registration centers such as conducting a site survey for preventive medicine centers, determining their locations and capacities and achieving 90% of the preparations for launching Al Fujairah new center. Also, the Executive Director of Communications & Information Systems presented the most important developments in the Communications & Information Systems Department such as connecting registration centers with the infrastructure of Emirates ID’s systems, and implementing the ID card reading machines at Zayed Military Hospital.

The meeting discussed the idea of conducting a field survey including an evaluation to all sections affiliated to the Communications & Information Systems Department with all its programs and service network for the purpose of reaching the required level of delivering comprehensive e-service accompanied with the best applications in a manner guaranteeing the best work progress.

On the other hand, the Executive Director for Administrative Affairs & Relations presented the most important issues related to administrative affairs such as moving to the new building, summary of appointments and resignations for the period from 1 July 2009 to 30 September 2009 in addition to the performance development project implemented at the Administrative Affairs & Relations Department. In addition, the Chief Financial Officer presented the most important developments related to its department including the Zero-based Budget Project.

The meeting was attended by both  H.E. Mohamed Al Khuyaili, Executive Director of Administrative Affairs & Relations; H.E. Nasser Al Mazrouei, Executive Director of Communications & Information Systems; H.E Hatem Al Hamly, the Chief Financial Officer; H.E. Yusuf Al Baloushi, Emirates ID’s Executive Director for Registration Centers; and H.E. Mubarak Al Ameri, Chief of the Secretariate of Higher Management Committee.
