H.E. Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al Khouri, Emirates ID Director General, has instructed the Department of Registration Centers and all other Emirates Identity Authority-affiliated departments, sections and centers to double efforts and provide 7-star qualitative and prestigious services to all applicants and customers at registration centers with the aim of completing their registration in the ID card and population register.
During a meeting for regular review of registrations which was held under his chairmanship and attended by executive directors, Al Khouri stressed the importance of harmonious performance and integrated distribution of jobs among all concerned departments in implementation of the concept of integrated service system drawn upo by the new registration plan emanating from the Emirates Identity Authority’s new strategy 2010-2013.
Al Khouri stressed the necessity to move forward towards the strategic objective of registering all the population in the ID card and population register within the timeline set in the registration plan. He called for maintaining the rising number of registrants in all the centers across the UAE in line with the capacity of these centers.
He noted the diligent efforts exerted by the directors of registration centers and all supervisors and employees working in them which contributed to increasing customer satisfaction with the services provided by the Emirates Identity Authority and led to a record number of registrants of over 3 million in less than 2 years.
Al Khouri called on all not to be dazzled by the achievements and not to rely on the good results as shown in the registration figures, stressing the necessity to carry on work for employing success in achieving more successes in future during the Emirates Identity Authority’s endeavor to complete all its strategic projects in the best way.
Al Khouri expressed his hope that the different working teams at the Emirates Identity Authority will be able to deal with the challenges facing registration flexibly and intelligently and seek the best solutions to handle these challenges successfully. He stressed the importance of taking the initiative and proposing viable creative ideas for dealing with any challenge that affect performance.
Meanwhile, the Strategic Backup Office at the Emirates Identity Authority made a comprehensive presentation about the performance indicators related to registration across the UAE and the updates as regards the distribution of ID cards through post office boxes. The presentation also talked about the mechanism of dealing with pending cards and the best ways to deliver the remaining cards to their owners as soon as possible.
