Emirates ID woman employee wins “Mother of UAE Award” for “Working Mother” category

Mahra Ghannam Mabkhoot Al Say’ari, a woman employee from the Emirates Identity Authority, has won the “Mother of UAE Award for Ideal Mother” for the category of “Working Mother” in the third edition of the award for 2012.

Al Say’ari won the award, which bore the name of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak,Chairperson of UAE Women’sUnion, Supreme Chairperson of the FamilyDevelopment Foundation and Mother of the Nation, in appreciation of its being distinguished in her home and place of work and her contribution to the society.

Sheikh Hazza Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Undersecretary of the Ruler’s Representative Court in the Eastern Region, announced the results in a ceremony held recently by the Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care & Special Needs, represented by its affiliate Zayed House for Family Care, at Al Ain Municipality Theater.

Meanwhile, the Emirates Identity Authority honored the woman employee in celebration of its win of this prestigious award, which throws the light on the achievements and efforts of working mothers, taking into consideration their success and ability to manage their time and reconcile their responsibilities at home and at work.

Launched in 2012, the Mother of UAE Award for Ideal Mother, focuses on the humanitarian role played by mothers in all local and international assemblies. The award is granted in recognition of the great contribution of mothers based on the Mother of the Nation’s ongoing support for women in general and mothers in particular and her continuous directives to support UAE women in all fields.
