The Emirates Identity Authority reviewed a number of its initiatives for contributing to completing the electronic transformation of federal government services on the sidelines of its participation in the introductory meeting held in Dubai yesterday to present the Federal eGovernment Plan 2012-2014.
The Emirates Identity Authority’s participation in the meeting, which was organized by the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, came as part of its efforts exerted to support and implement the eGovernment strategic plan. The attendance at the meeting welcomed the co-operation existing among the government organizations to put the Emirates eGovernment’s proposals into action with the aim of implementing the Cabinet’s directives for converting all government services into electronic ones within two years.
As part of this plan, the Emirates eGovernment will set the standards, policies and guides that will help implement the federal eGovernment’s program through the electronic provision of all government services through multiple channels within two years.
