The Emirates Identity Authority has organized a comprehensive awareness campaign for its employees across the UAE as part of a series of preparations aimed at matching the criteria for nomination for Dubai Human Development Award before receiving a team from the evaluation committee of the award which intends to visit the Emirates Identity Authority next week.
The Investors In People team at the Emirates Identity Authority headed by Mrs. Khawala Al Tayer, HR Director, which organized the campaign, clarified that the Emirates Identity Authority adopted many initiatives aimed at developing its human resources as per the best practices, locally and internationally, including the international criteria of Investors in People and the Emirates Identity Authority’s other development projects that strike a balance between the employees’ internal and external activities with its customers.
Last year, the employees of the Emirates Identity Authority participated in 147 training programs as part of its keennesson developing its human resources, upgrading its services and bolstering the skills of its employees. Besides, the Emirates Identity Authoritymade a comprehensive development plan for its human resources which is aimed at training 882 employees from all its departments this year.
Dubai Human Development Award, which is presented by the Department of Economic Development under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has been created to reward the human resources initiatives that are adopted by organizations for achieving the human development objectives, developing the aptitudes of their employees and underscoring their role in ensuring a bright future for the UAE through extensive training and guidance.
