The Emirates Identity Authority has held its regular meeting to discuss a report on performance indicators for the first quarter of this year. The meeting, which was presided over by H.E. Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al Khouri, Emirates ID Director General, was attended by the executive directors, directors of departments and centers, Strategic Backup Office members and project managers.
The meeting comes as part of the Emirates Identity Authority’s corporate excellence plan and is aimed at getting familiar with the level and quality of completion for all the Emirates Identity Authority’s projects and initiatives as shown by the performance indicators. It is also aimed at making sure of how far the departments and sections are committed to the given performance indicators, which are in line with the Emirates Identity Authority’s new strategy 2010-2013.
The performance indicators report, which was prepared by the Strategic Backup Office, showed that 90 per cent of the strategic performance indicators had been completed for the ICT Department, Population Register Department, Administrative Affairs and Relations Department, Finance Department, Registration Centers Department and Planning and Quality Department.
The meeting decided to hold an extensive workshop this week, through which the registration procedures would be defined, the appropriate suggestions and solutions for dealing with all the challenges would be discussed and the responsibilities of the concerned departments and sections would be determined with the aim of raising the completion rates of the strategic performance indicators and the operational performance indicators.
