The second batch team of government accelerators announced that the pilot of “Mabrouk MaYak service” succeeded. This service was adopted by the Ministry of the Interior through the 100-day challenge to complete all official documents of newborns of the UAE citizens, including “Birth Certificate, Passport, Emirates ID Card, Update Family Book and Update Population Register”.
Mr. Nasser Al Abdouli, Director of Customer Happiness Centers Support Department at EIDA, asserted that the participation of Emirates Identity Authority in the “Mabrouk MaYak” project, which represents an excellent model of cooperation between local and federal government entities, comes as part of the Emirates Identity Authority’s efforts to support teams of government accelerators to enable them to reach their goal represented in accelerating achievement of the National Agenda leading to the UAE Vision 2021.
Mr. Al Abdouli showed in a new published today in newspapers that EIDA is actively contributing to this project, which aims at making the family happy by receiving a new born. In cooperation with the members of the team from the concerned federal and local entities, all documentations of newborns are completed easily and through a unified channel, in order to reduce the time of customer journey among entities, providing these documentations as events including Birth Certificate, ID Card, and passport.
He pointed out that the Emirates Identity Authority (EIDA) is keen on contributing to all initiatives implemented by government entities to promote and develop the level of services provided to customers, to ensure the easy access to these services, to accelerate the procedures and to shorten the time required to accomplish such services, in innovative ways and new methods, according to the highest standards of efficiency, quality and effectiveness, which satisfying customers and introducing happiness, joy and pleasure to themselves. “Mabrouk MaYak” team also announced that the pilot of the service is completed in preparation for the actual application after completing the establishment of smart link between all entities involved in providing the events at the Corniche Hospital in Abu Dhabi, Dubai Hospital in Dubai and Al Qassimi Hospital in Sharjah, supervised by the MGovernment team in the UAE Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) to be generalized to all emirates in the next phase. “Mabrouk MaYak” service, one of the fruits of the “Customer Happiness” projects launched by the Emirates Programme for Excellence in Government Services earlier this year, and had a great customer interaction, is represented in reducing the customer journey from seven visits to only one visit, in which all official documents of the new born are delivered. “Mabrouk MaYak” service is based on introducing family data through the documents provided when the mother is registered in the hospital. This data is verified by the Ministry of the Interior. After that a text message containing an electronic link is sent to the customer to complete the application electronically in simple and easy steps. Then, the customer will be contacted with to receive all documents related to the newborn.
