A group from EIDA discussed with Emirates eGovernment the available capabilities to support and develop a mechanism for exchange of government data and application of the graphical model with the aim of delivering real-time data to all government entities to save time, effort and cost.
The meeting discussed means of execution of the eGovernment strategic plan which includes starting to contact and coordinate with government entities and companies with expertise to execute a number of important initiatives serving the public sector in addition to supporting and developing the level of e-services provided to customers, including the integration and graphical model initiatives with the aim of establishing a single structure for shared data between government entities.
The two sides agreed on a number of proposals such as organizing a regular meeting between Emirates eGovernment, Abu Dhabi Systems & Information Centre (ADSIC) and EIDA, organizing meetings with a number of major government entities that need data structures according to milestones and organizing meetings with some international companies that have expertise in this field.
The meeting was attended by EIDA’s representatives Mr. Abdullah El Kendi, operations manager, Mr. Abdullah Askar, population register and ID card system consultant, Mr. Mohamed El Redeeni, information security manager and Mr. Shadi Zuraiqat, IT consultant and the eGovernment’s representatives Mr. Mohamed Ismail El Taneeji, head of training and research department, Mr. Radwan Mahmoud, Mr. Abdul Wahab Mustafa, Mr. Ashraf El Masri and Miss Rajia Abdul Wahab.
