The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security, represented by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, participated in Dubai Airshow 2021, which started yesterday and lasts until November 18, with the participation of 1,200 exhibitors from 150 countries.
The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai presented, through its platform at Al Maktoum Airport, a series of innovative projects that included the initiative of “Forecasting the Future” to read, and analyze data, then draw perceptions to ensure the efficiency of operations and link them to the smart Command and Control Center, in addition to the traveler’s journey project through iris and face scanning, and a service registration at the smart gates for interested visitors.
His Excellency Lieutenant-General Mohamed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of Dubai Residence, indicated that participation in the exhibition embodies the optimal role the Department plays in this tourism and economy event in the context of the future of the aviation industry, travel and air transport protocols, especially through our meetings with representatives of international entities to exchange experiences and opinions and discuss the most prominent technical innovations in this field.
