Dubai Municipality Requires ID Card for Employees’ Arrival and Departure

Dubai Municipality launched a new arrival and departure system for its employees where the ID card is required. This comes from its keenness on implementing the best systems and modern applications in the field of work which are compatible with the uses of the modern and magnetic ID card.

During launching the new system, Eng. Hussain Nasser Lootah, Director General of Dubai Municipality, stressed that Dubai Municipality seeks to apply all the new and modern employee work systems, to facilitate the progress and management of work according to the latest applied technologies in this field. It also seeks to apply easy, simple and fast procedures that serve employees and fulfill their needs.

The Human Resources Department at Dubai Municipality conducted research, taking into account when applying this system all matters that help to enhance the previous system and add additional features through the current system with regard to accuracy, speed and simplicity to contribute to the provision of information in real time to employees and officials.

The current system provides the employees with a range of information about the days of vacation, times of signing and other services that they need.

The application of the self-system contributes to regulate arrival and departure and replace paper signatures with new magnetic cards. It also saves effort for directors, heads of departments and the employees themselves as it facilitates the process of submitting daily reports of arrival, departure and absence.
