HE Dr. Saeed Abdullah bin Mutlaq Al Ghafli, Director General of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, confirmed that the Day of Knowledge has become an annual occasion for the people of the UAE to deepen their belonging to homeland and to express their love and loyalty to its flag, the symbol of his dignity and strength, and what in their hearts of loyalty and sincerity and standing behind his wise leadership, and it is an occasion to emphasize that this flag will remain, God willing, raised high and preserved with the eye cuddles and prayers of mothers to seek Allah protection of the homeland, and to perpetuate the blessing of security, safety and prosperity.
He said that this dear occasion for all those who live on this good land of citizens and residents is one of the situations in which the spirit of unity and loyalty to the principles and values established by great leaders and men who have did what they pledged to Allah when they gathered as one man to establish a unified and strong homeland, where its citizens feel proud and boast it, and to inaugurate a new era in its journey with the title of Growth, Prosperity and decent life, and to raise its flag, which represented to the citizens of the homeland an icon of goodness and symbol of dignity, unity and pride.
Dr. Al-Ghafli added that the celebration of Flag Day coincides with the coronation anniversary of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the State, as the head of state and leader of the march, which adds new meanings and lofty dimensions and add greatness and noble meanings and high national values, and connects the beautiful past to the present of promising future and it is a day to express a deep love for the homeland and a tribute to flag, loyalty and sincerity to good leadership.
Dr. Al-Ghafli stressed that the state flag has a great place in our souls, It is the symbol of pride and honor, preservation, defense of the homeland and protection of its borders from the invaders. It is the flag which the minds converged and the hearts met and consciences united, to was able to build a nation that enjoys happiness and prosperity, stands in the first ranks globally in various areas of progress and advancement, thanks to a leadership that has dedicated itself to serving its people and providing them with the best standards of life, and people who have faithfully and unswervingly matched their aspirations, orientations and visions of the bright future.
Dr. Al-Ghafli called on everyone to embody the values that the flag symbolizes in our daily life, through loyalty to the homeland by working hard and diligently to give the best efforts, and to contribute each in our positions to achieving the goals that our leadership aspires to, with faith in the importance of the role played by each of us in reaching the vision of the UAE 2021 and achieving the ultimate goal that our state be one of the best countries in the world by its Golden Jubilee
Dr. Al-Ghafli reiterated on behalf of the staff of the FAIC, the covenant to the wise leadership and the people of UAE to continue to work tirelessly to reach more achievements that write the name of our precious UAE in the first grades at various levels and engrave it in the books of the immortals.
