Director of “Foreigners and Ports” inspects the work at the reception center of violators in “Al Ain”

HE brigadier Saeed Rakan Al-Rashidi, Acting Director-General of Foreign Affairs and Ports in ICA, inspected Al Ain Center, which was established by ICA to receive violators of Entry and Residency Law of foreigners wishing to benefit from the “Protect Yourself by Changing Your Status”, which was launched on Wednesday morning, first of August 2018 and will last until the next October 31.

During the tour, Brigadier Al-Rashidi reviewed the mechanisms of work at the center, all facilities, and fit-outs for the reception of the violators. He invited all employees to exert all efforts to facilitate the completion of the procedures of violators, ensure the provision of services to them, complete their transactions smoothly and easily and provide the best levels of comfort for the visitors to achieve the targeted positive results, primarily reducing the phenomenon of violators.

Al-Rashidi invited all violators who have not yet changed their status to take advantage of the provided opportunity by the initiative to quickly visit the centers set by ICA for this purpose to benefit from the facilities provided by the initiative. He pointed out that ICA has established nine centers all over the state to receive the residency violators, which are central in Al Shahama – Abu Dhabi and a center in Al Aweer area in Dubai. Reception centers have been established in Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, Al Ain, Al Dhafra in Abu Dhabi annexed to Customer Happiness Centers related to the General Directorate of Foreigners and Ports, which start working from 8 am to 8 pm from Sunday to Thursday, and a call center will be available to receive questions and queries from the public via the toll-free (80080), which will be available 24 hours a day
