H.H. Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Deputy Chairman of Emirates Identity Authority directed Emirates ID’s senior officers to standardize procedures followed by the Ministries of Interior and Labour and Emirates ID concerning the establishment of the Population Register & Identity Card System in its determined date.
This occurred during the meeting held by His Highness with Emirates ID’s senior officers today at the Forensic Evidence Department, Abu Dhabi Police G.H.Q.
During the meeting, he recommended the necessity of working, during the next phase, towards more coordination between Emirates ID and other governmental authorities whilst providing Emirates ID with whatever additional data it may require for its comprehensive database as well as other official information and data it may require from such authorities, aiming that all Emirates ID’s employees stay in close cooperation with each other in order to achieve complete success which may only be attained through teamwork.
H.H. Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan considered the Population Register & Identity Card System as one of the most important projects in the country confirming that senior leadership headed by H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan President of the State, may Allah guard him; his brother H.H. Sheikh Mohamed Bin Rashed Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai; and H.H. General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE’s Armed Forces and Chairman of the Emirates Identity Authority have previously decided to achieve this great national project. This project will enable decision makers and all employees to take right decisions, achieving the interest of the whole country, based on the comprehensive and accurate data provided by the database and standardized procedures.
The meeting has been attended by Major General Ahmed Naser Al Raisi, Director General of Central Operations, Abu Dhabi Police, Board Member and Head of the Emirates ID’s Executive Committee; Colonel Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri, Director General of the Department for General Headquarters Affairs, Abu Dhabi Police; Dr. Eng. Ali Al-Khouri, Emirates ID’s Acting General Director and Executive Director for Planning & Quality; and a number of senior police officers and Emirates ID employees.
At the margin of the meeting H.H. Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan received at his office today Dr. Eng. Ali Al Khuri who handed him over the doctorate thesis in administrative engineering where Dr. Ali has finally satisfied the requirements of obtaining it majoring in Strategic Project Management in the Government Sector from the British University of Warwick…. wishing for him permanent progress and service of the this generous country.
