The Federal Authority for Identity, Nationality, Customs and Ports Security concluded the Billiards Championship, which was held in the Sheikh Khalifa Sports Hall in Zayed City in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday and Thursday (May 10-11, 2023) amidst strong competitions of women and men from the Authority’s members, as 34 players participated in the tournament. His Excellency Colonel Sultan Muhammad Al-Marri, Executive Director of the Human Resources Department at the Authority, crowned the winning players, in which the employee Abdullah Rashid Hussein Al-Attar won the first place in the competitions of the men’s team in the championship, while Al-Marri crowned the employee Shamma Khalifa Al-Ahmad for winning the first place in the competitions of the women’s team.
The Executive Director of the Human Resources Department praised the performance of all the participants in the tournament and the competitors who won the second and third places, stressing that the establishment of sports competitions in the authority aims to enhance the practice of physical and mental activity in order to achieve skill refinement and develop supportive capabilities at the personal and professional levels.
