The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security organized the 2026 Bowling Championship for its employees, with competitions held for men (team format) and women (individual format) at the Khalifa International Bowling Centre in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday and Thursday, 22–23 April 2026.
His Excellency Brigadier Ahmed Maayouf Al Ameri, Acting Director General of Support Services, crowned the winners of the top positions in the presence of a number of senior officers and officials. He praised the participants for their efforts and highlighted the importance of such initiatives in supporting the UAE leadership’s vision of promoting sports activities and healthy workplace practices. He noted that these events contribute to creating a balanced and positive work environment, enhancing productivity, fostering creativity, strengthening teamwork, encouraging employees to maintain an active lifestyle, and promoting a spirit of competition, confidence, and camaraderie among staff.
In the men’s team category, the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Abu Dhabi secured first place, while teams from the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai achieved second and third places. In the women’s individual category, Captain Fathiya Darwish Al Maamari (Dubai) won first place, First Sergeant Reem Jamal Abdullah (Dubai) secured second place, and Asma Rashid Al Suwaidi (Dubai) took third place.
