Terms and Conditions

Marriage contracts issued outside the UAE must be translated into Arabic and attested by the UAE Embassy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
If the citizen spouse (husband or wife) is affiliated with the Armed Forces or any entity that requires prior approval for marriage, a No Objection Letter for marriage to a foreign spouse must be provided.
When issuing family data based on a marriage certificate and the husband is unemployed, a status declaration from the Sharia Court must be submitted.
Complete the necessary procedures to fulfill the application requirements (in case the application is returned for modification).

A new family record is issued for a widow, provided that no children are registered under the family record of the deceased husband.
