Issue Replacement for lost \ damaged ID Card

About this service

This service allows the customer to apply for the issuance of a new Identity Card as a replacement for a lost or damaged card, with the new card issued for the same validity period as the original card.

Terms and Conditions

  • The new Identity Card is issued with the same validity period as the lost or damaged card.
  • If the customer wishes to apply for the urgent service, they must visit the Authority’s service center directly to initiate the procedures through the service officer.
  • The application will be canceled if the procedures are not completed or if the required amendments to the returned applications for modification are not made within the specified period.
  • Anyone who has completed 15 years of age must complete fingerprinting and signature procedures through the service centers affiliated with the Authority.
  • The personal photograph must comply with the standards approved by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

Service fees

  • Fees for issuing a replacement ID card (lost/damaged) - 300 AED
  • Urgent service fees (available only at the Authority’s service centers) - 150 AED
  • Smart Service Fees - 100 AED
