ICA’s Customer Happiness Center in Umm Hurair organized a medical activity for its employees and customers, in collaboration with the American Hospital. This event marked ICA’s keenness on organizing activities that benefit and aid its employees and customers and contribute to raising their awareness of the importance of health and how to maintaining it.
The activity included a number of examinations for both employees and customers, such as measuring blood pressure, blood glucose, and body fat percentage. During the activity, participants were given medical advice and tips on the importance of avoiding unhealthy foods and lifestyles and the need to consume foods with high nutritional value, which have great health advantages.
This activity was part of the World Heart Day celebration, which is celebrated every year on the 29th of September, to raise people’s awareness of cardiovascular diseases, their symptoms as well as the prevention and treatment methods in order to lead a healthy life with a heart free from diseases.
