EIDA’s Umm Al Quwain Customer Service Center has taken part in the events of the “Innovation Week”, which is organized by the Committee of UAE Innovation week in the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain. The event was held at the branch of Mushreq Bank in Umm Al Quwain.
The Authority’s employees responsible for the platform of the center in the events demonstrated for the audience the latest innovative projects carried out by the Authority and the smart and electronic services offered for the customers, including; the Digital Validation Gateway, through which the public/private institutions and individuals alike are allowed to use ID cards to conduct electronic financial transactions, it also offers digital services related to the ID cards; and thus facilitating the process of ID and signature verification via cyberspace.
The exhibition visitors conducted trial financial transactions through ATM machines of Al Mashreq Bank using ID cards, and praised the great advancement achieved by the Authority in the field of broadening the scope of the ID card usage, and the Digital Validation Gateway project and its role in enabling the institutions of the public and private sectors to improve and promote their services, and enabling the individuals to safely conduct financial transaction via the cyberspace.
The employees also participated in the workshops organized by the committee on the sidelines of the event, with the purpose of engaging in proposing suggestions, proposals and opinions in about innovation and creativity, and getting to know the prominent proposals in that concern.
