Based on solid foundations, noble values, respectful principles
HE Dr. Saeed Abdullah bin Mutlaq Al Ghafli, Director General of the Emirates ID Authority, emphasized that celebration of the 45th national day indicates the good journey and collection of achievements made at all levels to put the UAE among the developed countries, granting the UAE one of the happiest people in the world.
The 2nd of December 1971 signaled a real feast and a good starting point for the UAE and its people, said Dr. Al Ghafli. In this day, good intentions, pure hearts and noble sincere souls were brought together and acted as one man to set up the federation and reunion to start the journey to a prosperous and happy country, he said. This federal experience has successfully brought people of the emirates together, reviving hopes for unity that has proven to be possible if built by sincere people on good foundations, he said.
The 45th national day is a point of joy and pride in a glorious history during which this young nation has made extraordinary achievements and managed to be ahead of other countries that were created hundreds of years ago, said the director general. This proves that the age of a nation is not measured by years, he said. Rather, it is measured by the nation’s contribution and services to humanity and the impact it left on the people life.
What makes difference in the UAE is that it has been based on solid foundations and noble values that respect people regardless of their skin, color, race or religion, Dr. Al Ghafli said. It elevated humans and regard them as a focus of policies and projects, placing people happiness on the top of priority lists for the government, he said. This made the UAE a destination for all those who want to live in a safe and stable environment with a decent standard of living.
“Celebrating this occasion, all the Emirati people are looking for a brighter future and thank Allah for the blessings they have had including the visionary leadership that has been generous to them and has given them faithfulness for their love and devotion for their loyalty, working overnight to serve them and make them happy”, said Dr. Al Ghafli.
On this occasion, Dr. Al Ghafli sent the best greetings to HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Their Highnesses members of the UAE Federal Supreme Council. He promised to take great pains to make the Emirates ID Authority a real contributor to the development of the nation and a main driving force to achieve the UAE Vision 2021 in order to make our country one of the best countries in the world by its golden jubilee.
Dr. Al Ghafli remembered with respect the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, father of this country, and his co-founders who gave their whole life for this country and union, praying to Allah to count this in their favor and send them directly to heaven.
