To celebrate Oman’s 49th National Day, the Land Ports Department and Abu Dhabi International Airport shared the joys of the Omani brothers and sisters for this great occasion.

Lieutenant Colonel Saeed Hamad Al Rashidi, Director of the Land Ports Department and some employees visited the Oman–UAE border crossings points, namely: Hafeet, Hamasa and Wadi Al Jizi in Oman. They congratulated the Omani for the 49th National Day.

Al Rashidi stated that this Omani national occasion emphasizes that the successes achieved by the Sultanate over the previous years are the outcome of its wise leadership which exerted all efforts to enhance Oman’s Arab, regional and international position at all levels. He further said that the UAE-Omani relationships are historically well established and deeply rooted and are built upon solid basis and close fraternal ties between the two leaderships and brotherly peoples.

During the visit, roses, souvenirs and Omani flags were presented to those who arrive or leave through the UAE and Oman joint land ports and through Abu Dhabi International Airport. Everyone was happy and pleased with this kind gesture.

The Omani brothers and sisters appreciated this kind initiative launched by the UAE, as it reflects the bonds of love and ties of kinship between the two brotherly peoples.
