The “Executive Affairs Board of Nationality” discusses the approach of the Directorate’s work and its executive plans

The Executive Affairs Board of the General Directorate of Nationality in the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, which was formed according to the decision of ICA’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, discussed the proposed work approach in the Directorate in general and the work plans to be implemented in its organizational units during the next stage.

The Board reviewed the electronic archiving system, which the Directorate has begun to use to preserve and archive all records of Nationality in order to maintain it and facilitate access to the entries in accordance with international best practices, the matter which contributes to providing the best services to the customers and ensuring the completion of their transactions easily to save their time and efforts.

This came during the first meeting of the Board in 2018, which was held at the headquarters of the Directorate in Abu Dhabi and headed by Brigadier Suhail Jumaa Al Khaili, Acting Director-General of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, in the presence of Brigadier Khalifa Matar Bal Kubaa, the Executive Director of the Support Services Sector and member of the Executive Affairs Board in ICA.

The Board decided to assign the Director of Strategy and Future Department at the General Directorate of Nationality, Lieutenant Colonel Sultan Mohammed Al Marri, to develop performance indicators to assess the achievement of the approach implemented by the Department in terms of the planned results and the achievement averages of set goals.

The Board reviewed the proposal submitted by Mr. Musbeh Obaid Al Mesmari, Advisor at the office of the Director-General of Nationality, on the development of an internal communication plan in the Directorate, in cooperation with the Director of the Government Communications Department, Abdullah Khalfan Al-Hamli, and its administrative effect, which contributes to enhancing communication with the employees of the General Directorate, enhancing their contributions to the development of services it provides, and motivating them to ensure excellence in performance and ensure the highest satisfaction rates.

The Board reviewed the other topics listed on its agenda and took the appropriate decisions.
