The Emirates ID Authority Celebrates the Flag Day and Raises the Flag in its Headquarters and all its Centers in the Country

The Emirates ID Authority celebrated the Flag Day with the government and private sector organizations, UAE citizens and residents, and raised the UAE flag at its headquarters and affiliate customer service centers across the country, simultaneously, with the participation of all employees who saluted the flag with the national anthem playing in the background.

H.E. Dr. Saeed Abdullah bin Mutlaq Al Ghafli, Director General of the Emirates ID Authority, extended his congratulations on this occasion, in his name and on behalf of the Emirates ID Authority’s family, H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, may God save and bless him, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister, Ruler of Dubai, may God save and bless him, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members, rulers of the Emirates, and the people of the UAE, praying God Almighty to bless the nation with more prosperity, strength and glory.

Dr. Al Ghafli also congratulated H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, Chairman of the Authority, and Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Authority.

The Emirates ID Authority Director General extended his congratulations to all the Authority members in this national occasion dear to the heart of every citizen and resident, which coincides with the anniversary of H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, may God protect him, assumption of office as the leader of the country. Al Ghafli stressed that the celebration of the Flag Day promotes the love of the flag and its value in the hearts of all UAE citizens and residents. Al Ghafli added that this occasion promotes hard work and dedication to achieve the vision and aspirations of the leadership so that the UAE remains a towering role model of progress and development for nations and peoples.

Al Ghafli said, in a speech addressed to employees, that the celebration of this national occasion is dear to the hearts of the UAE citizens and residents, and reflects the love of the UAE people to this immortal symbol and its colors and their willingness to sacrifice it with their blood and souls so that it remains waving high on all corners of the beloved country, as a symbol of pride and glory.

He added that the celebration of the Flag Day promotes the feeling of pride of this nation that became a towering role model of progress and development for nations and peoples and whose leadership always seeks to bring it to number one in all areas.

Dr. Al Ghafli stressed that the celebration of the Flag Day deepens the love of this flag in the hearts of the UAE citizens and residents, then he raised it high in the sky to remain the symbol of pride and greatness, reflecting the feelings of loyalty and unity of the UAE people who are willing to sacrifice everything for the sake of their nation so it remains the state of happiness and prosperity.

Dr. Al Ghafli called the Emirates ID Authority employees to make this occasion an incentive towards further hard work to maintain the achievements made, through exerting all efforts needed to perform tasks and responsibilities in the best way possible, teamwork, innovation and excellence in providing services to customers in order to achieve the strategic objectives of the Emirates ID Authority.

The customer service centers affiliated to the Emirates ID Authority across the country also celebrated this dear national occasion, raising the flag in their courtyards and on their buildings, with the participation of all their employees and customers who carried flags and expressed their pride in participating in this event dear to the hearts of all UAE citizens and residents who feel all pride and loyalty towards the beloved country.
