The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security, represented by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs of Ajman, participated in the Demo Day platform that was held at Ajman University today, Tuesday (February 14), as part of the activities of the UAE Innovation Month “UAE Innovates 2023”.
The event was attended by His Excellency Colonel Mohammed Saif Al Shamsi, Director of Identity and Passports Department of Ajman. The department’s participation in the exhibition included a review of the Authority’s various innovations in various fields of work, and highlighting the importance of the innovation hackathon in developing services based on the aspirations and opinions of customers. The smart application and system was presented as well as a system for tracking trucks electronically, which is managed by the General Administration of Customs, and a proposal for a virtual electronic museum was presented. Governmental and private entities participating in the event were also honored, and Major Humaid Al Matrooshi, Head of the Innovation Team, received the honorary medal on behalf of the Authority.
