His Excellency Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, Director General of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security, honoured several employees from the Authority in the aftermath of their winning in the first competition to measure the level of institutional maturity and the culture of future foresight, which was launched through the Department of Strategy and the Future at the level of the Authority in its various sectors to reach the highest levels of readiness for the next fifty years, thus enhancing the satisfaction and happiness of the community, the customers, the partners and all parties related to the Authority, in a strategic step to contribute to advancing the pace of achieving the goals that support raising the levels of community quality of life.
First Lieutenant Hilal Obaid Al Abdouli from the General Administration of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Fujairah ranked first, while the employee Taheera Saeed Al Shehhi from the General Administration of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Ras Al Khaimah ranked second, and first warrant officer Nada Ahmed Al Zaabi from the General Administration of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Ras Al Khaimah ranked third.
His Excellency the Director General of the Authority praised the winners of the first three places, as he gave them their prizes, praising their efforts, their good knowledge, and their relentless pursuit towards understanding the vocabulary of the future and institutional policies aimed at supporting national trends, stressing that the competition came to enable the optimal investment of institutional energies and to highlight it within the path of the foresight process, with its participatory methodology in the current information age, and whose outputs contribute to the formulation of decisions aimed at achieving the future visions of the Authority.
It is worth noting that the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security has developed a different mechanism to measure the level of institutional maturity and the culture of future foresight among its employees through the introduction by the Strategy Department of a systematic program within multiple stages to enhance the Authority’s endeavours to care for distinguished youth groups within the field of future foresight
